Mozart und Kulinarik

on the one side the population were hungry, one hardly had enough money to feed ones family, and on the other side one took advantage of the excellent fully loaded tables at the court and ate like a king.
Mozart knew both sides during his life-time.
The choice of menu in the 18. century was seldom served according to ones own taste, but depended more on what the traders had to offer, which again depended on the seasons, the state of
the roads, war and peace.
Mozarts favourite food was chicken.
