To hike through the Salzkammergut means: to experience and be fully aware of the beauty of this unique countryside.

The mountains around our hotel are up to 1750 metres high, most of them are easy to reach over well marked paths. Everywhere you will find typical mountain huts where you can fortify yourselves.

It is possible to reach the summits of some mountains effortlessly by lift or by car up a toll

As a guest of our hotel you will naturally receive the official hiking map of the Fuschlsee region with lots of well described hikes and mountain tours, free of charge.
